Meghan Markle’s 42nd birthday expected to be ‘private affair’ with Prince Harry
On Wednesday, August 2, Meghan and Harry celebrated the family birthday at celeb hotspot Tre Lune, an Italian bistro who boasts Kourtney Kardashian and Justin Bieber as customers.
The birthday girl wore a flattering strapless black and white dress, while Prince Harry kept it casual in a blue shirt and light trousers. They were joined by a group of friends, including Meghan’s longtime friend, Heather Dorak, and her husband Matt Cohen, both of who attended their 2018 wedding.
Having celebrated with pals at the upscale restaurant, the royals are expected to spend Meghan’s official birthday at their sprawling $21 million Montecito mansion.
The 16-bedroom estate is a sanctuary for the couple, particularly since Meghan admitted that they did “everything they could to get the house.”
“Because you walk in and go…joy. And exhale. And calm. It’s healing. You feel free,” she gushed.
A PR expert told The Mirror that Meghan’s big day is expected to “be quite toned down this year and likely to be a private affair. I imagine she is looking forward to celebrations and being treated by Prince Harry.”
She continued: “It’s quite possible that Meghan will spend the day of her actual birthday at home in Montecito, surrounded by her two children, Prince Harry, possibly her mother Doria and their rescue dogs. Meghan may also choose to celebrate her special day with a small, intimate gathering.”

It seems the tension has continued as Harry and Meghan reportedly did not receive an invitation for a royal family gathering to mark Queen Elizabeth II’s first death anniversary.
King Charles and Queen Camilla will commemorate the anniversary on September 8 at Balmoral Castle, Scotland but there has reportedly been “no outreach” to the US-based Sussex royals.
